These are beings who stand clearly apart from ordinary humans in terms of sheer class, so in a sense this is where the ranking truly begins.
The rough benchmark for “war god level” in this ranking is: “clearly stronger in combat than other gods, and capable of standing out even in wars among the divine.” Many of them possess enough power to sweep aside a large human army single-handedly, and even against gods who are not suited for battle, they can win with ease.
