Now that we have finished introducing the war god tier, the gods and monsters appearing from this point onward are in a completely different league. The human heroes and war gods encountered up to now were mostly strong in ways that extended from human-level capability, and those with truly overwhelming divine powers — the kind of ability that no human could ever reach — were rare (and even those who had them came with significant weaknesses).
From here on, however, the gods and monsters appearing possess power that is clearly a cut above even the mythology’s strongest figures.
If they felt like it, they could single-handedly defeat large numbers of gods through their divine authority alone, and many are revered as the “supreme god” or “chief god” — the very pinnacle of their respective pantheons.
In this ranking, these beings are referred to as “high gods” or “supreme gods,” and the benchmark for this tier is: “possessing divine power clearly stronger than ordinary gods, such as that of a solar deity or a thunder deity — or equivalent overwhelming force.”
After all, beings with that kind of divine authority would never lose to the gods and monsters seen up to this point in the ranking, right? I hope you enjoy everything from this tier onward!
